6th June is a date with international significance for the world and Normandy.
With the idea that everyone in Normandy takes part in the commemorations of this date in history, we’re launching Picnics for Peace.
This idea is a simple one: that all Normans and lovers of Normandy get together for a moment of friendship to celebrate this symbolic date.
Further afield, Picnics for Peace are already being organised in Brussels, Dakar, Madagascar, New York, Busan, Sydney, London and now St Helier at the Millenium Park Parish of St Helier
You are all cordially invited so bring your food and drinks and join in!

And don’t forget to share your photos and videos using the hashtags #NormandieRegionMonde or #Normandyworldregion so that we can share your event with everyone else!
Together, let’s make this date a day on which we come together: for #peace, for open-mindedness, for conviviality!
