La Fête de l’Avranchin

La Fête de l’Avranchin is a brand new event created by the Town of Avranches (La Manche), in order to promote the history, traditions and heritage of the town and its area.
This year la Fête de l’Avranchin aims to focus on Norman cultures and heritage! Many people from the Channel Islands are going to participate and share with a brad audience their norman heritage such as languages or traditions!

You will find many events during the week-end: concerts, games, visits, conferences…

The twinning games organized between the parishes of Jersey twinned with communes of Normandy will also take place during that week-end! This year, there is a new twist to the games as only Norman medieval games will be played… What a great way to rediscover our heritage and some forgotten games!
