TENNIS – Challenger Cherbourg Competition

TENNIS 

The Challenger La Manche-Cherbourg is an International Tennis Competition, from 20th to 28th February in Cherbourg (La Manche). This ATP Tournament is dedicated to players internationally ranked 70th to 180th and gives you the opportunity to see the young generation of rising stars.

The last winner in march 2015, is the Slovak Norbert GOMBOS who was a finalist already in 2014. Kenny DE SCHEPPER won in 2014, the dutchman Jesse HUTA GALUNG won in 2013 and Grigor DIMITROV in 2012. Nicolas MAHUT won the tournament twice in 2006 and 2010.

Former winners of the Challenger include Rafael NADAL and Gilles Simon (2003), Gael MONFILS (2004) and Novak DJOKOVIC and Richard Gasquet (2005). Jo wilfried TSONGA in 2007 as well as Arnaud CLEMENT played several times in the tournament.
