Granville Carnival is coming back for the 145th time in Granville (La Manche) from March, 1st to 5th. Since November 2016, Granville Carnival is on the UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity thanks to its various traditions such as the official ceremony during which the Mayor hands the keys of the city to the Carnival King for 5 days of festivities ending on a giant confetti battle, the King’s trial and intrigues all over town.
